Statement and Images from Casey Goodson Jr. Protests


DECEMBER 15, 2020 (Columbus, OH) – The family of Casey Goodson Jr., along with their legal teams with Walton + Brown, LLP and Friedman, Gilbert + Gerhardstein attended protests and rallies to honor the life of Casey Goodson Jr. over the weekend. 

The family of Casey Goodson Jr. is honored by the support they received from the Columbus and mid-Ohio community during the rallies held in Casey’s honor. Ms. Tamala Payne, Casey’s mother, was accompanied at Saturday’s event by many mothers and families of other Black people killed by police in the Mid-Ohio region. Casey Goodson Jr.’s family welcomed the love and strength offered in solidarity by the community and these mothers as they congregated peacefully to demand justice for Casey.
