Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit Filed Against Jason Meade And Franklin County In Casey Goodson Jr. Case
On December 2, 2021, Walton + Brown, LLP and Friedman, Gilbert + Gerhardstein, jointly representing the estate of Casey Goodson Jr., filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against former Franklin County Deputy Jason Meade and Franklin County, Ohio.
The civil rights lawsuit alleges excessive force, wrongful death, and a Monell Claim, which is a claim against the County for their patterns, practices, and customs that led to Casey Goodson Jr.’s death.
